Packing a model ship takes some delicate handling.
We have packed & moved a few of these ships.
We pack them carefully by:
Using a portarobe which the width of a standard carton but twice the height
Cross tape the outside bottom of the carton.
Turn the carton up the right way and fill part way with bean bag fill
Place the ship in the carton then carefully place more fill in and around the
ship being carefull of the strings and sails if those parts cannot be taken off and packed.
When the top of the ship is covered carefully with the beans then fill the rest of the box to the top.
Cross tape the top closed.
