To pack a lampshade, prepare the carton by placing a layer of properly crushed white paper or cushioning material compressed down to approximately 5 cm in the bottom of the carton.
Place the lampshade inside the carton in an upright postion like it would be when its in use
Drape the lampshade with 2-3 sheets of white paper.
Fill in the space between the top of the lampshade and carton with cushioning to prevent an upwards movement.
Lampshades should not be placed in cartons with other items.
Note: Lampshades become brittle from the heat of the globe and break easily.
Extra cushioning can be bubblewrap, paper or bean bag fill.
